This past weekend was filled with camping, shooting, and a little sight-seeing. Erik had a shooting match in Duluth, so we decided to go a day early and go to Canal Park. I always love camping at Northwestern Gun Club. It’s a gorgeous range and there are plenty of places to camp without feeling like you’re right next to a firing line, and the weather was great, not too hot or cold.
Friday morning we headed into Duluth and just drove around for a while. I love looking at the houses and buildings with so many different types of architecture and history surrounding them. We eventually found our way down to Canal Park, and being that it was early in the day, it was relatively quiet. This is great for taking pictures because no one gets in your way, but not so good for people watching, which sometimes proves to be far more interesting. There isn’t much to say about the rest of the day, we ate lunch and then drove around again before heading back to the range.
